FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – It was a night of celebration for the Honorary Consul of the Republic of Armenia in Fresno. During the gala, guests were treated to traditional Armenian dancing and a Fresno State wind orchestra musical performance. "We made an incredible mark around the world. everyone knows about Fresno and Fresno's vision and passion to serve, so it's a trademark," says Berj Apkarian Fresno's Honorary Consul of Armenia. Some notable guests included the Armenian ambassador to the US and Congressman Jim Costa, among many others. The Honorary Consul of Armenia has been a pillar in the Central Valley, helping connect local Armenians to their homeland and organize medical mission projects in Armenia.
