FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) - Two people were arrested and an officer was assaulted after a fight in front of a bar in Tower District Sunday evening, the Fresno Police Department announced. Police say just after 5 p.m. they responded to a call regarding a large physical disturbance in front of Bobby Salazar's on Broadway Street and Olive Avenue. As officers arrived they reported seeing several people engaged in a fight. As an officer tried to break it up, one of the individuals punched him, inflicting minor injuries. As a result, police say several people were detained and two people were arrested, including one on suspicion of assaulting a police officer.
