Syracuse, N.Y. — A man is in critical condition after an apparent suicide attempt after he jumped from the Thompson Road bridge over Interstate 690 Saturday afternoon, according to Syracuse police.Syracuse police and firefighters responded to the service road to I-690 West at 2:18 p.m. after reports that a man had jumped from the bridge, police said in a news release Saturday night.
