NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — A man has been hospitalized following a shooting that occurred in the Iberville neighborhood of New Orleans in the early morning hours of Saturday, Nov. 16. According to the New Orleans Police Department, officers responded to a report of gunfire in the 1200 block of Bienville Street shortly before 2:00 a.m. Legal dispute may cause problems for New Orleans Sanitation Department On scene, officers say they found a 51-year-old man who had been shot several times. The victim was taken to a hospital by New Orleans EMS. Further investigation reportedly showed that there was an altercation in the victim's apartment. Police say the suspect fired multiple shots, hitting the man, before fleeing in an unknown direction. No further information was provided.
