FORECAST DISCUSSION:
Sunday keeps our warming trend going with highs reaching the low 60s. This is about 10 degrees warmer than average for this time of year. A few more breaks in the clouds will allow for a bit more sunshine as well. Overall Central Ohio can anticipate a beautiful end to the weekend.
During the nighttime hours full cloud cover will return over the area. There is also going to be a small chance for isolated drizzle, but the vast majority will stay dry. Lows will only drop to the upper 40s thanks to that cloud deck.
Monday keeps the warmer temperatures for now, and the clouds will also be sticking around. Highs will reach the low 60s in the afternoon. Outside of these clouds, the workweek starts off fairly uneventful weather wise. That will not be the case the rest of the week.
Rain chances pick up again by Tuesday. Later this week comes a very big seasonal change with a low pressure center bringing a wintry mix to Central Ohio along with gusty conditions. Because of the warm ground temperatures, any snow that falls will be little in accumulation and will melt pretty quickly. Winter starts in 34 days.
