JASPER, Ind. — Three people were arrested during a narcotics investigation in southern Indiana.
According to a press release, Indiana State Police's investigation centered around three people — 29-year-old Michael Bickett, 41-year-old Kevin Henning and 31-year-old Letisha Cook. ISP began looking into the trio's activity after they received a tip that indicated Henning — who lives in Grandview, Indiana, with Cook — was wanted on multiple felony warrants in Kentucky.
Bickett, who is from Kentucky, was implicated in ISP's investigation after he was seen occupying Cook's car in a Walmart parking lot on Thursday.
While Bickett was in Cook's car at Walmart, police conducted a search of the vehicle. During the search, they found 72 grams of suspected methamphetamine and 61 grams of suspected marijuana.
Bickett was arrested without incident after the search and subsequently transported to the Dubois County Jail.
A few hours after they arrested Bickett, police saw Henning and Cook get into another vehicle at Cook's residence. When Henning and Cook left the home, police initiated a traffic stop with them.
During the stop, law enforcement ordered Henning and Cook to exit the vehicle. Police found more suspected methamphetamine during a search of the car.
After they located the drugs, police arrested Henning and Cook without incident. Both individuals were later booked into the Spencer County Jail.
Law enforcement ultimately obtained a search warrant for the residence Henning and Cook were living in. Investigators found suspected methamphetamine, paraphernalia and marijuana when they executed the warrant.
Bickett, Henning and Cook now face a combined total of more than 10 preliminary charges:
Michael Bickett
Dealing in methamphetamine — Level 2 Felony
Possession of Methamphetamine — Level 3 Felony
Dealing marijuana — Level 6 Felony
Possession of marijuana — Class A Misdemeanor

Indiana State Police did not specify what crimes Henning's Kentucky warrants are related to. Henning and Cook have yet to appear in court.
Bickett was in court for an initial hearing on Friday. A pretrial conference has been set for Dec. 17 in his case.
The stiffest of the charges Bickett faces — dealing in methamphetamine — is a Level 2 Felony. The maximum penalty for a Level 6 Felony in Indiana is a 30-year prison sentence and a fine of up to $10,000.
