The Colorado Springs Police Department says a wanted woman who refused to come out of a home for about six hours Saturday, is now in custody.Police tell News5 that this all began around 8:20 Saturday morning with a report of a kidnapping. Police say they tracked the suspect, who is facing felony charges, to a home on Lorraine Street, near S. 8th Street and W. Brookside Street, just after noon. Police say the woman refused to come out of the home until just after 6 p.m. when she was taken into custody peacefully. Police tell us they had to get a warrant before they could go into the home to make the arrest. While the details are still being sorted out by investigators, police say it appears this may have been domestic-violence related, and that the victim in the kidnapping that was reportedly early this morning was an adult.People living in the surrounding neighborhood were ordered to shelter in place for their safety during the standoff.
