REHOBOTH, Mass. (WPRI) — Traffic was backed up on I-195 West on Friday after a dump truck veered off the highway and crashed into a wooded median in Rehoboth. Massachusetts State Police say the single-vehicle crash happened around 3:15 p.m. The truck flipped over as a result of the crash and its bed was dislodged. The driver, a 34-year-old man, was taken to Rhode Island Hospital, according to police. The extent of his injuries is unknown at this time. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
