Level 2 missing child advisory issued for LaPlace teen

LAPLACE, La. (WGNO) — The Louisiana State Police have issued a level II endangered/missing child advisory for a LaPlace teen who went missing on Saturday, Nov. 9.
According to the LSP, the teen, identified as 13-year-old Jokaia Polk, was found missing from her home on N. Canterbury Drive around 9:30 p.m.

Polk stands at 5 feet and 1 inch tall and weighs around 110 pounds. She has brown eyes, a long "faux loc" hairstyle and was last seen wearing a dark shirt.
Anyone with information on her location is asked to call the St. John the Baptist Parish Sheriff's Office at 504-494-3932 or 985-359-8777, or dial 911. All questions should be directed to the SJBPSO.
