Cold case: 18 years later, still no answers seeking justice for 2006 slaying of Appleton woman

APPLETON, Wis. (WFRV) - The Appleton Police Department is seeking the public's assistance in solving the cold case of Connie Boelter.
Eighteen years later the community of Appleton is still looking for the person responsible for the murder of 56-year-old Connie Boelter. On November 15, 2006, Connie was found murdered inside her home in Appleton, WI.
The Appleton Police Department took to Facebook to post a YouTube video remembering Connie and asking again for help in seeking justice.

“Connie was an easy-going person… She was very family-oriented. We spent a lot of time together, she loved her grandkids, just very family-oriented,” shared Boelter’s oldest daughter, Dawn Gunderson, in a 2019 sit-down interview with Local 5.
