Dry, But Really Pleasant Weekend Ahead
Nov 15, 2024
Happy Friday! As we wind down the workweek and wind things up for the weekend, the weather will remain fairly calm, but we still have a few hurdles.
Tonight, temperature will fall into the mid 30s, and we’ll remain mostly clear. I highly suggest you bundle up, head outside, and look up this evening as we’re going to see our final Supermoon of the year!
Tomorrow and Sunday will be nearly identical days: breezy with plenty of sun and high temperatures in the upper 50s and low 60s. The only issue of the weekend is that it’s still not going to rain– bad news in terms of the drought and brush fire risk. Our Red Flag Warning has been extended to include Saturday, and it would not be shock to see it extended further. Avoid burning anything outdoors (bonfires, outdoor grilling, etc.), and avoid parking your car on top of dry, grassy areas. Just one spark is more than enough to cause bigtime problems, and we don’t want to give our brave firefighters any extra work!
While Monday brings a few extra clouds, it’ll be a nice day otherwise with temperatures remaining in the upper 50s and low 60s. The numbers will fall back into the 50s Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Thursday will bring out next good chance of rain, with an area of low pressure approaching from the west. Right now, it looks like we’ll see showers and some periods of rain beginning early Thursday afternoon, with a few showers lingering into Friday at least.
