Northwood office leases more than 360,000 square feet in Ballantyne

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Northwood Office, a commercial development leasing and property management firm based in Charlotte, announced it signed and commenced 33 new, expanding and renewed office leases from April through September 2024 across its Ballantyne portfolio, totaling more than 360,000 square feet.

New deals that were signed since April included Lennar Carolinas, represented by CBRE’s John Christenbury and Mark Decherd, for nearly 27,900 square feet at the Calhoun Building, as well as the Allen Lund Company, represented by Cushman & Wakefield’s Matt Bowen, for nearly 15,800 square feet at the Crawford Building. Waste Connections, represented by Myers McGarry of JLL, leased over 12,600 square feet at Overlook. American Engineering, represented by New South Properties’ Kenny Smith and Holly Alexander, leased more than 10,800 square feet at the Everett Building.
Renewals included Premier for 146,000 square feet at the Betsill Building, represented by Chris Schaaf and Bryan White of JLL. In addition, CrossCountry Mortgage, represented by Marshall Williamson of Lincoln, expanded by more than 7,900 square feet at the Harris Building, renewing their existing space for a total footprint of more than 16,000 square feet at the Harris Building.

The team has signed and commenced leases totaling more than 573,000 square feet year to date.
