A motorcycle rider died Thursday after crashing into a tree in Chula Vista, police said. The crash was reported around 4:30 p.m. on Telegraph Canyon Road near Paseo Del Rey Road, Chula Vista police said on X, formerly known as Twitter. The crash shut down roads temporarily in the area.
