RIDGELAND, S.C. (WSAV) – A 21-year-old died after a gunfight at a Ridgeland gas station last week, police said. The shooting happened at the Enmarket on E Main Street around 11:20 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 7. The Ridgeland Police Department said investigators determined that Rodney Lloyd Jr. and Nylon Chaney got into an argument, and Lloyd had been shot. Guyton man arrested, thousands of dollars worth of drugs seized He later died as a result of his injuries, officials said. Later that night, 21-year-old Chaney turned himself in to law enforcement. He awaits a bond hearing as he faces charges of murder and possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime.
