KENOSHA, Wis. (WFRV) - One driver was significantly injured when a semi at a southeastern Wisconsin intersection crashed into four other vehicles that were stopped at a red light. According to the Kenosha Police Department, around 3:20 p.m. on November 14 at the intersection of Green Bay Road and 52nd Street, a semi failed to turn onto Green Bay Road after traveling west on 52nd Street. Appleton parents, community members outraged after second child hit at intersection in seven months Officers say the semi crashed into four vehicles that were stopped at a red light on Green Bay Road, significantly injuring one of the drivers. Multiple other people suffered minor injuries and were treated at local hospitals. After the initial crash, the semi continued southwest, crossing all lanes of 52nd Street before coming to a stop near a Culver's in the 5200 block of Green Bay Road. The entire intersection was shut down for over two hours and all vehicles had to be removed from the scene by tow trucks. The accident remains under investigation. No additional details were provided.
