Weekend Warm Up!
Nov 15, 2024
Friday has us return to the Red Flag Warning with low relative humidity this afternoon down to nearly 20%. We will also pick up gusty breezes from the northwest in addition to the abundance of dry tinder as ground fuel. As a result, brush fires will be easy to start, fast to spread and be so hard to contain. Outdoor burning is strongly advised against and please be careful with disposal of smoking materials and other incendiary items. High pressure is again in control with ample sunshine and afternoon highs will be seasonable, topping out in the 50s. The weekend will be sun-filled and much warmer with highs in the lower-60s both Saturday and Sunday. The warmer than average temperatures will continue through Monday. A cool front Monday will bring in some cloudiness and even a chance of a shower, but it’s so slight. Sunshine is here Tuesday and Wednesday with cooling temperatures and highs in the 50s. Thursday will have a 30% chance of showers with highs in the lower-50s.
