VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) — A 'large amount' of diesel spilled onto Interstate 264 eastbound at London Bridge Road as the result of a tractor-trailer crash Thursday night, Virginia State Police said. The tractor-trailer lost control at the exit ramp, jack-knifed and lost what State Police said was a large amount of diesel fuel. The Virginia Department of Transportation said the east exit 19C was closed to clean up the spill. VDOT helped with the lane closure as hazmat teams cleaned the fuel spill.
