Seth 'Da Flow' Irskens' weekly Colts anthems launch him to viral fame
Nov 14, 2024
GREENWOOD, Ind. — Colts fans on social media know the catchy tune of "This is our Colts, this is our team."
The parody came from the mind of Seth "Da Flow" Irskens, a 31-year-old Colts fan from Greenwood.
”The inspiration behind 'This is our Colts' song is a parody behind a Phil Wickham song we sing at church called 'This is our God,'” Seth said.
Seth described it as a "lightbulb moment" as he started singing it in his head. He released the first anthem at the beginning of the 2023 season. When he brought the weekly songs back for 2024, they began to go viral.

”This year I started coming up with twist endings, though, on the fly and with the help of my friends and my brothers," Seth said.
The anthems largely stick to the same script, but each does have a special line about the team the Colts face.
”The one I'm really proud of this year was the Dolphins where I bounced the football of my nose like a seal or like a dolphin," Seth said.
Here are a few of Seth's hit lyrics:
"Beat the Bears, let's bear them down with Josh Downs"
"Beat the Bills, let's prove we're the Colts mafia"
"Beat the Dolphins, they're useless on dry land."
Since the first video of the year released before the Colts started the preseason, Seth's posts on X have racked up millions of views and fans have given some positive feedback.
”I definitely came up with a few bangers, as time went on," Seth said. "According, to what I've been told from the fans."
Seth said fans have even asked for his autograph and pictures at Colts games.
”I could never have imagined how big it would have gotten though because it's been pretty wild, though," Seth said.
Even popular sports media like Pat McAfee and the Pardon My Take have taken notice.
Along the way, the Colts have gotten involved. First, Blue was in a video and then Colts cheer joined in.
It all lead up to this month, when Seth was invited to the Colts complex for what he was told was a photoshoot and an article.
"I literally didn't know that was going to happen," Seth said.
Mid-photo shoot, Colts wide receivers Michael Pittman Jr. and Josh Downs walked in singing Seth's Colts anthem with two huge tickets to the Super Bowl.
"They were singing my anthem and I had that surprised look on my face," he said.
Seth got the surprise of his life as the Colts chose him as their fan of the year. He's got an all expenses paid trip to the Super Bowl in New Orleans and he's up for NFL Fan of the Year.
”It's been unimaginable awesome, though, because I have to say, 'Thank you, Colts organization, you rock and roll,'" Seth said.
For Seth, this viral attention is a result of his passion for video editing and posting on YouTube. He's been doing that for more than 10 years and still does movie reviews with his younger brother from their Greenwood apartment.
With the viral videos also comes people who can say some mean things.
”There's been some haters in the comments, but I didn't really pay attention to that and sometimes I just laugh at it," Seth said.
Seth is autistic and hopes to inspire others to follow their dreams.
”I absolutely believe if you have special needs like that, or a disability, if you truly believe that's your passion, you should go for it, because I would definitely inspire you to follow your dream and feel the flow," Seth said.
His ultimate inspiration are his parents, who passed when he was young.
”I do this for my parents and for honoring them and respecting their memory and the love they have for me," Seth said.
