Man arrested after monthslong drug investigation in Houma

HOUMA, La. (WGNO) — A man has been arrested in connection with a drug investigation in Houma on Wednesday, Nov. 13.
The Houma Police Department reported that officers tried to pull over Quincey Mckinley, who was reportedly the subject of a drug investigation, for a traffic stop on Grand Caillou Road.

HPD officials said Mckinley allegedly did not stop and began throwing pills out of the window. Mckinley was then taken into custody.
Through an investigation with HPD narcotics agents, Homeland Security Investigations, the Louisiana State Police and the Terrebonne Parish Sheriff's Office, agents got warrants to search two homes on Ashlawn Drive and Shrimpers Row.

During the search, HPD agents said they found more than four pounds of crack cocaine, more than one pound of heroin, about 12 ounces of marijuana, about five grams of methamphetamine, five hydrocodone pills, five guns, containers, blenders and digital scales.
Mckinley faces charges of illegal possession of a weapon in the presence of CDS, illegal possession of a stolen firearm, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, obstruction of justice, possession with intent CDS I (heroin), possession CDS II (hydrocodone), possession with intent CDS II (crack cocaine), possession of CDS II (meth) and three counts of distribution of CDS II.
