Community invited to participate in virtual giftgiving tree

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — The City of El Paso is inviting the community to participate in this year's virtual gift-giving tree by choosing a gift for a child, senior, or veteran who is less fortunate, the City said in a press release.
Residents are encouraged to visit the gift-giving tree online, select a tag, and purchase a gift to support someone who is facing challenging times this year. Each tag on the tree represents a gift that will make that person's holiday a bit brighter.
Wrapped gifts should be dropped off by Dec. 6 at one of the designated drop-off locations listed below:
Fire Station #3: 721 Rio Grande
Fire Station #22: 6500 N. Mesa
Fire Station #23: 5315 Threadgill
Fire Station #29: 11977 Pellicano
City Hall: 300 N. Campbell (First Floor, near Security Counter)
City 3: 801 Texas (First Floor, next to Security Desk

"For over 30 years, the Gift Giving Tree—organized by the City’s Department of Community and Human Development’s Foster Grandparent Program (FGP) and Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP)—has relied on the generosity of City employees and residents to bring holiday warmth to our most vulnerable neighbors," the City said.
