WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) - Unsheltered people had the chance to connect with resources in Wichita on Wednesday. Project Hope held its monthly resource fair across from the former Park Elementary School. The Neighbor Resource Fair is a one-stop shop for resources from 35 different agencies. "We have workforce development and jobs training opportunities that are being highlighted here, and offered here information about them how to become involved with them," said Angeline F. Johnson, Grant Coordinator for Project Hope. "We have a variety of providers ranging from medical service, insurance. We have partners that are giving away information about other programs throughout the community." Project Hope is just one organization that helps clients who are being served at the winter shelter. The fair is typically held on the second Wednesday of the month at different downtown locations.
