PARDEEVILLE, Wis. (WFRV) - A 23-year-old Wisconsin man was arrested for allegedly engaging in sexual activity with a 13-year-old girl. According to a release, on Saturday, Nov. 9, shortly before 12:15 a.m., the Columbia County Sheriff's Office received a report of a missing 13-year-old girl from the village of Pardeeville. Around 90 minutes after the initial call, while checking the area for the girl, a deputy located a vehicle parked near the residence where the girl was missing. The deputy located the girl and 23-year-old Zyon Roberts of Pardeeville inside the vehicle. During the investigation by a detective and deputies, it was discovered Roberts and the girl had allegedly engaged in sexual activity. He appeared in court on Tuesday, where his cash bond was set at $10,000. Should he post bond, he will be ordered to have zero contact with the girl as well as no unsupervised contact with minors. Roberts will return to court for his preliminary hearing on November 20, 2024.
