ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – A new exhibit coming to the ABQ BioPark will feature the plant life of the Mediterranean. City leaders broke ground on the Lebanon and Beyond garden. While construction is underway, many of the plants are waiting in a greenhouse right now including pomegranate, fig, and pistachio trees. "Our goal is to develop and build an authentic representation of what you might see if you were traveling through the eastern Mediterranean and Lebanon specifically," said Maria Thomas, Curator of Plants, ABQ BioPark.
