Winterlike chill setting in as dry conditions persist
Nov 12, 2024
Remember when it was 77° last week? That was nice, but now it’s back to reality. Wind chills are in the 20s tonight across the area!
Tomorrow afternoon will remain chilly– highs will only get into the mid to upper 40s. While not as windy as Tuesday, Wednesday will remain a bit breezy.
On the bright side (literally), we’ll see plenty of sunshine! However, another Red Flag Warning will be in place across the area. No open flames if at all possible!
Thursday is a near copycat of Wednesday, with even less wind.
As we look towards the end of the week, there is a slight chance for some light drops Friday evening into Saturday as an area of low pressure off the coast spins back towards coastal New England.
However, rain chances remain slim. And to make matters worse, it will turn windier over the weekend as well. Bad news for our wildfire potential, and for the drought!
