OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) — The Oklahoma City Thunder revealed its new Nike NBA City Edition uniform that they will be wearing for their "City Nights" games during the 2024-2025 season. Officials say the design for the new City Edition uniforms completes a two-year story arc that reflects Oklahoma City's evolving landscape, growth, and momentum. LOCAL NEWS: Surgeon is optimistic about Chet Holmgren’s injury “The 24-25 City Edition Uniform is an expression of Oklahoma City's progression and unique cultural renaissance stemming from the optimism inherent in Oklahoma’s people and heritage,” said Brian Byrnes, Thunder senior vice president of Business Operations. “It pays tribute to the innovators that have shaped Oklahoma’s culture and are pushing it forward.” The team is scheduled to debut the new uniform for their first City Nights game at the Paycom Center on Sunday, November 17, against the Dallas Mavericks. The jersey displays the lettering "OKLAHOMA" across the chest to signify unity, and is only the second Thunder uniform which has the state's name at the center of the jersey. The shorts of the uniform also features an outline of Oklahoma on the belt buckle to represent the pride in Oklahoma's roots. The burst of color in the piping, chest marks, and numbers are used to represent the atmosphere of Oklahoma City and the display of vibrant artwork that can be found throughout the community. The pattern inside of the side panels of the uniform is said to contain overlapping components of Thunder logos and wordmarks to represent experiences, contributions, and perspectives. Beyond the new uniform, includes a City Edition court and City Nights theme games. Beginning November 17, each Sunday home game will be the Thunder's "City Night" game, which they will wear the uniform and play on the new City Edition court. The Thunder's City Nights schedule is: Dallas Mavericks — November 17. Memphis Grizzlies — December 29. Boston Celtics — January 5. Brooklyn Nets — January 19. Denver Nuggets — March 9.
