ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – The Bernalillo County Sheriff's Office is giving a recap of its metro crime unit's success. According to BCSO, the metro unit has made 211 arrests since its formation in July. 184 of those were felony arrests and 27 misdemeanors. Albuquerque man honored for organ donations that saved 4 lives BCSO says the unit has cleared 208 warrants, conducted 338 traffic stops, recovered 16 stolen vehicles, seized eight illegal firearms and more than 1,000 fentanyl pills. BCSO says 97% of those arrested had a prior criminal history. The unit is made up of four deputies and one sergeant.
