VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) - A man was arrested in connection with several child abuse charges, Virginia Beach Police said. Karl Adebahr (Courtesy: VBSO) According to officials, on Oct. 30, officers arrested 38-year-old Karl Adebahr and charged him with attempted carnal knowledge of a minor, attempted production of child sexual abuse and two counts of use of communication systems to facilitate offenses involving children. Police said Adebahr is suspected of using social media platforms in the attempt to initiate conversations with minors. He used usernames similar to 'JackJ38,' according to police.
