Nov 11, 2024
(COLORADO SPRINGS) — On Monday, Nov. 11, Life Time honored the men and women who have served our country by dedicating all its yoga classes to veterans.
Donations from classes on Monday will be split evenly between the Veterans Yoga Project and the Life Time Foundation.
The Life Time Foundation promotes healthy living through youth nutrition, movement programs, environmental conservation, and more. The Veterans Yoga Project aids recovery and resilience among veterans and their families, by offering them free yoga classes to support post-traumatic growth and mindful resilience.

"Sense of community is so incredibly important. When you come back from service or have been deployed a lot of the time, you might come back and feel a little alone, a little isolated," said Andrea Boldt, a yoga studio instructor are Life Time. "Yoga in particular gives you that feeling of being supported, being calm, being really cared for and nurtured."
Veterans Yoga Project seeks to support veterans throughout the year, not just on Veterans Day. You can find free daily online yoga and local classes at the link above.
