NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) - The North Charleston Police Department has arrested a juvenile in connection to a murder on Chestnut Street. Public Information Officer, Harve Jacobs, says the suspect has been charged with Murder, Armed Robbery and Possession of A Weapon During the Commission of a Violent Crime. Officers responded to an address on Chestnut Street around 6 p.m. on Sunday for a reported shooting. When officers arrived they discovered a male lying in the roadway with a gunshot wound. The man later died while en route to the hospital. The North Charleston Police Department says the investigation is ongoing.
