I just want to say God bless and thank you to every single veteran today on this special day. And wow, the weather could not have been better. The high today is 76, which is 7 degrees above normal. The highest wind gust today was 16 mph. Simply gorgeous. I hope you enjoyed it because KTSM is issuing a Weather Authority Alert due to the gusty winds and a slight dusty haze on Tuesday. Kevin Surbaugh TONIGHT:   The skies will be partly cloudy, and the winds will be light and variable at calm to 10 mph.  It will be a mild night with a low of 44. FORECAST:  Tuesday will start out sunny and beautiful but end up windy in the afternoon.  The SW-west winds will pick up and gust to near 35 mph with stronger gusts on the east slopes.  This will pop the high up to 80, and we could see a slight dusty haze by late day.  Wednesday will be sunny and cooler with a high of 70.  The NW winds will range from 5-15 mph. Thursday will be sunny and warmer with a high of 77.  Friday will be sunny and 80 with a warm SW breeze.  Saturday will be mostly sunny and 80 with gusty afternoon winds.  Sunday will turn mostly cloudy with a chance of drops late evening.  With a high of 74, the SW winds will gust to near 40 mph.
