Trial dates set for suspects in Crystal Rogers case

NELSON COUNTY, Ky. (ABC 36 NEWS NOW) – Trial dates have been set for three suspects charged in connection to the disappearance and death of Crystal Rogers in Bardstown.
According to ABC affiliate WHAS 11, a judge announced Tuesday that Brooks Houck and Joseph Lawson will be tried together on June 24 of next year.
Meanwhile, Steven Lawson, Joseph’s father, will be tried separately on February 10.
Rogers, a mother of five, went missing in 2015. Her car was found abandoned with a flat tire on the Bluegrass Parkway in Bardstown.
Court records indicate the trials will be held in Warren County, about 100 miles south of Bardstown.
Rogers’ ex-boyfriend, Brooks Houck, faces charges of murder, while the Lawsons are charged with complicity to murder and tampering with physical evidence.
