SANGER, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) - A Sanger teenager was stabbed Monday morning after an attack near a charter school in the city, the Sanger Police Department announced.
Police say around 10:45 a.m. they responded to a report of an injured person at a medical clinic in Downtown Sanger. Officers say when they arrived they found a 17-year-old boy with a stab wound.
According to police, the 17-year-old was near 9th Street and Brehler Avenue when a fight began. At some point, the teen was stabbed and the others involved in the fight ran from the scene. The victim was transported to a medical clinic by a friend.
Police say the teenager is expected to make a full recovery, having sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
