AGAWAM, Mass. (WWLP) - A grand opening ceremony is being held for a new 216.9-acre park in Feeding Hills. The former Tuckahoe Turf Farm, which is owned by the town, has been transformed into a public park called Still Brook Park after years of planning and development. The recreation area offers new trails, and facilities for canoeing, kayaking, picnicking, and fishing at the pond at the newly restored Nine Lot Dam. The Massachusetts Trails Grant, the Parkland Acquisitions and Renovations for Community Grant, Community Preservation Act Funds, corporate donations, and solar lease payments help aid the $6.3 million project.
