KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- According to KCPD, a homicide took place at Truman and Ewing in KCMO this afternoon, November 10. Suspect detained following Garfield Ave. homicide Saturday evening KCPD says that just after 1 p.m., officers were called to the area on a reported shooting. When officers arrived, they found a vehicle with two victims suffering from gunshot wounds inside. An adult man was pronounced dead at the scene and an adult woman was taken to a local hospital with critical injuries. KCPD claims that no one has been taken into custody at this time. Detectives are also still trying to attempt to learn what led up to the shooting. Crime scene investigators are continuing to canvass the area for evidence and witnesses.
