FORECAST: Cooler sunny Saturday, rain returns Sunday

Happy Saturday, DMV! Another dry day is in store for the entire DMV. Friday, marked 37 days of no measurable rainfall recorded in the Nation's Capital, and today will mark day 38. Wall-to-wall sunshine will be seen through the area as high pressure will briefly build in. Seasonable highs will be returning reaching into the 50s and 60s.
By, tonight, the high pressure will move out of the area, and some clouds will begin to move in. Saturday night will still be dry but overnight lows will be chilly dipping into the 30s and 40s. We are finally seeing rain return to the area as we end the weekend. By Sunday morning isolated showers will be seen across the area. Scattered showers will be seen by Sunday afternoon as a warm front begins to pass through the DMV. Rain totals through Sunday-Monday look to be between 0.25" and 0.50".
A cold front will pass through the area, by Monday morning, with a few isolated showers. If you plan on heading to any early morning Veterans Day celebrations make sure to pack the umbrella. Showers will come to an end by midday Monday as the cold front finally moves out of the area. Behind the front, we will start to see sunny skies return. Highs for Monday will be reaching into the 60s and 70s.
Wall-to-wall sunshine will be returning to the DMV as we head through the day on Tuesday highs will be seasonable again reaching into the 60s. A tad cooler on Wednesday with highs struggling to get out of the 50s. By the end of the week, another storm system looks to move into the area, providing us with another chance of rain.

Wednesday: Partly cloudy skies with a chance of late showers. Highs will be in the 50s, and lows will be in the 40s.
Thursday: Partly cloudy skies with spotty showers and breezy conditions. Highs will be in the 60s and lows will be in the 40s.
Friday: Mostly sunny skies with highs in the upper 50s and lower 60s.
