Redlands’ Lincoln Memorial Shrine will commemorate the anniversary of President Abraham Lincoln’s Gettysburg Address 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 16, in Smiley Park outside the shrine. Lincoln presenter Robert Broski will recite the Gettysburg Address, and the program will include an artillery demonstration by the 1st Pennsylvania Light Artillery, according to a news release. The program will also feature the Mountain Fifes and Drums and Camp Carleton Band. President Abraham Lincoln delivered his Gettysburg Address Nov. 19, 1863, to dedicate the Soldiers’ National Cemetery in Gettysburg, Pa. That dedication ceremony followed the three-day Battle of Gettysburg that took place in July 1863. Redlands’ Lincoln Memorial Shrine is behind the A.K. Smiley Public Library, 125 W.
