LUBBOCK, Texas -- A 19-year-old airman from Canon Air Force Base in Clovis, New Mexico, was rescued from floodwaters on Highway 84 just south of Post, Texas on Friday morning. Phase two of Lubbock Aquarium set to start in April Garza County Sheriff Terry Morgan said the call came in just before 7:00 a.m. for a car that went off the highway near the Johnathan McDonald memorial marker. According to the Sheriff, the vehicle was in a riverbed with quick-rising waters. Sheriff Morgan said the man was not injured. Garza County is still on a flood watch through Friday evening.
