United Airlines introduces 'Touchless ID' at DCA for faster security screening

WASHINGTON (DC News Now) -- United customers have a new, faster way of getting through security at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA).
On Thursday, the airline introduced "Touchless ID," allowing travelers to go through TSA security without getting out an ID.

United said that in order to opt in, customers should do so while they check in for their flights. Once they get to the airport, they have to go to a TSA PreCheck checkpoint to get their photo taken.
DCA is the seventh airport where United has started using this feature.
