Cool weather to round out the week, some rain in sight
Nov 07, 2024
We will say goodbye to the 70s for now after yet another warm day Thursday.
Friday will still be sensational with full sun and highs in the mid-60s, arguably even better!
A dry cold front moves through Friday night (maybe a sprinkle?!) and shoots in chillier air for the weekend, as temperatures return to normal.
Both days will be in the 50s with dry weather. Sunny skies Saturday will give way to clouds on Sunday, ahead of our next storm system.
This one looks likely to finally bring widespread rain. Unfortunately part 1, it doesn’t look like a ton, and part 2 it comes on Veterans Day morning.
That said, it will exit rather quickly and the sun should return by the afternoon. Sunny and seasonable weather returns for Tuesday and Wednesday.
There could be some more rain in the Thursday to Friday time range, but we are still pretty far out so much uncertainty remains.
We certainly need it though. Taking a look at the newest national drought monitor, almost all of Southern New England is now under some degree of drought.
