(COLORADO SPRINGS) — Mountain Metro Transit is stopping all service on Thursday, Nov. 7, for the rest of the day due to weather conditions. Buses will stop operating at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday. Elaine Sheridan, Senior Public Communications Specialist for Mountain Metro Transit (MMT) said multiple routes had to be shut down due to stuck buses. "Unfortunately, the road conditions are becoming too difficult for our buses to safely continue service," wrote MMT via X (formerly known as Twitter). ADA Metro Mobility Paratransit will continue to operate only for essential trips.
