INDIANAPOLIS — The Indianapolis Department of Transportation announced on Wednesday a series of lane restrictions and lane closures coming to I-465 near Carmel. According to INDOT, the first closure will begin on Wednesday at 7 p.m. and last through Thursday at 7 a.m. Here, crews will reduce I-465 eastbound to a single lane between U.S. 31 and Keystone Ave. Additionally, the following restrictions will take place: I-465 westbound will be reduced to two lanes between River Rd. and Keystone Ave. The collector/distributor ramp and Shadeland Ave. to 56th St. will be reduced to a single lane. The ramps at U.S. 31 northbound to I-465 eastbound, U.S. 31 southbound to I-465 eastbound and I-465 westbound to Keystone Ave. will be closed. Following that, from Thursday at 9 p.m. to Friday at 6 a.m., INDOT said I-465 eastbound will be reduced to a single lane between U.S. 31 and Keystone Ave. I-465 westbound between Westfield Blvd. and College Ave. will also be reduced to two lanes. Additionally, the ramps at U.S. 31 northbound to I-465 southbound, as well as U.S. 31 southbound to I-465 eastbound, will be closed. Then, from Friday at 9 p.m. to Saturday at 6 a.m., I-465 westbound will be reduced to two lanes between Westfield Blvd. and College Ave., according to INDOT. Further, from Friday at 8 p.m. until Monday at 6 a.m., INDOT said I-465 eastbound traffic will be reduced to a single lane between U.S. 31 and Keystone Ave. The U.S. 31 northbound to I-465 eastbound ramp, U.S. 31 southbound to I-465 eastbound ramp and the I-465 eastbound to Keystone Ave. ramp will close.
