Crews put out brush fire on Fuller Road in Chicopee

CHICOPEE, Mass. (WWLP) - Crews worked to put out a brush fire on Fuller Road in Chicopee on Tuesday.
According to the Chicopee Fire Department, firefighters were called to Fuller Road in the afternoon for an active brush fire. The Fire Department reminds residents that a Red Flag Warning is still in effect due to dry and breezy weather conditions.
Red Flag Warning issued: High brush fire danger
Open burning in Chicopee is prohibited at all times, however, to prevent a brush fire, properly dispose of all smoking materials and refrain from any outdoor activities that involve heat sources, sparks, or embers.
