Subramanyam was elected to Virginia's General Assembly in 2019. Before that, he earned his law degree from Northwestern University and served as a White House technology policy advisor in the Obama administration.
His campaign focused on protecting women's health care, the economy, the environment, gun safety and more.
Clancy's campaign focused on eight issues: inflation and the economy, a fiscally responsible government, securing the border, safe communities, a strong national defense, constitutional rights, school choice and "respecting life."
