LIVE ELECTION RESULTS: See a chart of the latest vote counts “I feel really good and I think the numbers are going to hold,” Tejeda said Tuesday night. “It just goes to show … I am in touch with my district and not as I was projected by my opponent as ‘out of touch.’” “I’m confident that we’re going to win,” he added. Councilmember Jenna Guzman-Lowery faced two challengers in District 4 — Shaw, a law enforcement chief, and Jesus Cisneros, who works for the Los Angeles School Police Department. “They’re really early numbers,” Shaw said Tuesday night. “Too early to get my hopes up or get concerned … I feel like we ran a great campaign, a great race, and it’s a matter of waiting for the numbers to come in and see if everybody else voted and felt the same way.” According to early unofficial election results released at 8:30 p.m., Tejeda was leading the District 2 race with 60% of the vote, followed by Maravillas with 40%. Early results showed Shaw leading in District 4 with 46.19% of the vote, followed by Guzman-Lowery with 40.39% and Cisneros with 13.42%.
