OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) - The Oklahoma City Police Department released dashcam footage of an auto-pedestrian collision and officer-involved shooting that happened on October 10.
Police say the incident began with 77-year-old Annette Prince being a passenger in a vehicle driven by a woman she knew. For unknown reasons, Prince shot the driver twice, prompting the driver to get out of the car to run away. Prince then got into the driver’s seat, turned the car around and ran over the shooting victim.

Officials say officers later responded at around 10:30 p.m. near NW 122nd Street and N MacArthur Boulevard, where they found Prince in the vehicle with a gun.
She refused to drop the weapon and started firing gun shots into the ground, police say.
“After the collision, that suspect had a firearm and was shooting off rounds from that firearm,” said Capt. Valerie Littlejohn with OKCPD.
According to OKCPD, officers tried a less lethal method to deescalate the situation, but Prince continued to refuse to drop the gun. She eventually got out of the car, pointed the gun at officers, resulting in her being shot and killed.
On Tuesday, November 5, OKCPD released footage of the incidents. Officials say the victim that was shot and ran over is recovering. No one else was injured.
