(NewsNation) — Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Trump are spending election night in familiar and comforting spots. Where is Donald Trump on election night? Trump will be spending the evening at his Mar-a-Lago resort in Palm Beach, Florida. The former president is also hosting multiple dinners at Mar-a-Lago, including with his close friends, donors and club members, reported ABC News. The Republican candidate will be holding a campaign watch party in Palm Beach Tuesday night at the Palm Beach County Convention Center. Thousands are expected to attend, and Trump is slated to arrive between 10:30 and 11 p.m. local time, according to the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office. Trump has made Florida his home after being a New Yorker most of his life. He cast his vote in person in Palm Beach Tuesday saying afterward that he was feeling “very confident.” Where is Kamala Harris on election night? Meanwhile, Harris will be watching results roll in on election night from Howard University in Washington D.C, a historically Black university where she graduated with a degree in economics and political science in 1986.  If elected, she would become the first HBCU graduate to become the nation’s president. “The first office I ever ran for was freshman class representative at Howard University.
