Monroe County Board of Elections releases voter turnout numbers

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — The Monroe County Board of Elections has begun releasing voter turnout numbers.
As of 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, approximately 130,000 people voted on Election Day. The total number of voters on Election Day and early voting is 263,511 — with a 52.7% total turnout.
The total number of voters in the City of Rochester reached 42,969 voters and the total number of voters in municipalities in the Rochester area reached 220,542. You can check out the current report below:

The County Board of Elections predicted there would be between 188,000 to 238,000 people showing up across the 215 polling sites across the county.
