BRPD: Man accused of attacking elderly disabled man in police custody

BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) -- A man accused of attacking an 81-year-old in a chapel Saturday night is now in police custody.
The Baton Rouge Police Department said William Joseph Breen III, 40, faces charges of aggravated battery, institutional vandalism, cruelty to the infirm, aggravated criminal damage to property and aggravated burglary.
According to police, Breen is accused of attacking an 81-year-old disabled man inside a local religious chapel on the night of Nov. 2. Investigators said chairs, kneelers and Breen's hands were used to strike the victim.
