CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WGHP) — The Carolina Panthers continue to be active ahead of the NFL's trade deadline.
After trading away wide receiver Diontae Johnson a week ago, the Panthers are trading another wideout in 2023 second round draft pick Jonathan Mingo.
Mingo will be joining the Dallas Cowboys alongside a seventh round pick from the Panthers in exchange for a fourth round pick.

Mingo, 23, was taken by the Panthers 39th overall in the 2023 NFL Draft after Carolina selected Bryce Young with the first overall pick.
At the time, the Panthers hoped Mingo would develop into a replacement for DJ Moore who the Panthers traded away in the deal to move up to draft Young. However, Mingo struggled immensely as a rookie and lost playing time this season to first round rookie Xavier Legette and undrafted free agent rookie Jalen Coker.
