WASHINGTON (DC News Now) -- Exciting news is coming soon to the District! The Capital Pride Alliance is announcing the theme for WoldPride 2025 next week - and you're invited to hear it in person. The Capital Pride Alliance (CPA) is hosting a night of celebration at The Hamilton Hotel in honor of WorldPride's theme on Thursday, Nov. 14. In case you missed it, the District is hosting WorldPride 2025, which runs concurrently with the 50th anniversary of the city's Capital Pride celebrations. WorldPride is running from May 17 - June 8, 2025, featuring a vibrant and innovative slate of events and cultural programs that will highlight the best that D.C. has to offer, from concerts and conferences to parades and festivals. While the big announcement next week is the main star of the event, the program will also feature entertainment and highlights from AAPI Pride, DC Black Pride, DC LatinX and more. Tickets are $50 to $100 and include culinary delights from tasting stations and an open bar. Proceeds from each ticket will also include a donation to the Pride365 Fund for WorldPride 2025.
